Kudos for PayPal

Not going to bore you all (as if!) with the nitty gritty details. Long story short, I bought an item on eBay (who doesn't nowadays?) and ended up having to dispute about it on PayPal. I emailed them (PayPal) with a question, and instead of the form letters that eBay keeps sending back to me, PayPal actually suggested for me to call up a live person! So I did.

I'm sure by now any modern day human being who has have to call up their cell phone or cable company can testify about the abuse us regular civilians have to take from big corporations. Yippee! Corporate America. To my surprise, the customer service rep at PayPal was EXTREMELY professional, knowledgeable, AND helpful. I did NOT (utterly amazed) have to explain my issue more than once. She listened attentively AND addressed it accordingly. Not your usual, listen to first half "I have not yet received the item...." "Go to the website and take care of it there..." conversation. I even asked her about a scenario that happened years ago (of course not trying to claim for that one) and she explained it to me fully and professionally.

I think with our god awful customer reps that we are so used to nowadays, this was a very refreshing experienced and deserved a mention and hopefully someone, preferrably of some importance, will read it! :D
