Bad Luck

Ever noticed that bad luck sometimes just come in streaks? (Yes, and sometimes good luck also, but always more noticeable/memorable when it's bad.) And there's nothing one can do but to wait it out. So I'm hot and heavy in my bad streaks right now... and boy do I wish I can see the end of the tunnel. If only I know say next Tuesday is the end of it, I would probably just take a couple days off and stay at home... at the rate it's going, I'm not even sure staying at home will stop my bad luck from happening. So here's my stories:

* Tuesday:- coworkers A & B pissed me off, big time

* Wednesday:- separate incident but C decided to play a practical joke on me, which would have been find had event on Tuesday not took place. I didn't know it was C so assumed it was A or B or both again, and was livid for rest of day

* Thursday:- I could not rest till I found out who yesterday's culprit was. Found out it was C and all was good.... ?

* Friday:- Many people from work were work and an empty office made a very depressing day. C showed me a website so I tried it at home, only to get adware viruses out the wahzoos... I haven't even seen an adware virus in YEARS. So that rendered my (luckily?) personal laptop useless.

* Saturday:- Installed my latest addiction (PC game) onto hubby's laptop and successfully destroyed his also. No, the culprit wasn't the game, just my magical touch.

- Continued our search for our second (fuzzy) baby with pointy ears. Found "the one" but a hold has been placed on it... on the same day...

- Continued unpleasant dispute with seller from ebay

- Possibly missed my period and have an unwanted pregnancy?

- Waiting for lab result from the lab and diagnosis from my doctor.

Need I to say more? Perhaps my cousin wasn't entirely superstitious when he said one always have bad luck during one's "original (chinese) zodiac" year (every 12 years, yeah, go calculate my age).

At this point I'm even afraid to touch any electronics in the house for fear of my own magical touch. Hubby has officially banned me from touching his computer (desktop), little does he know I'm plotting to touch the keyboard before I head to bed and see how far I can take this. :D

I can't even recall the last time I had such an awful bad streak, although I'm sure it had happened before. The hardest part about coping with bad streaks is to control myself to not go ballistic. It's not easy when you have my family genes... And this (lunar) year is only 1/3 over... or should I say, already 1/3 over?
