Tomboy Is a Package Deal

Now that I'm happily married, I like to listen to dating stories of the boys (early 20's) at work. It's entertaining without the emotionally pain and suffering.

So these two boys, at different times, were saying how tomboys are almost easier to have a relationship with.

Hah! So they think. What they didn't know (I'm a tomboy, I know this) is that tomboy is a package deal. Sure, we don't like to play games. We think a lot like a man. BUT the downside is also that we are very like a man. We don't spend too much time groomly ourselves (metrosexual man not withstanding), we don't have bodies/appearances of a super model... precisely we spent out time elsewhere... like playing video games just like boys. And, frankly, most men canNOT handle tomboy -- but it is possible that my viewpoint on this was tainted by loser Asian males -- they still like women to be feminine.

Well, buddy, you want the feminity you better be willing to pay the price. Women like that do require more upkeeping. You can't want a feminine woman... and only expects her to be tomboy when it's convenient for you!

But the 20 year olds at work will eventually learn their own lesson, in due course. Or not. :)
